Drugs wearing off...more pain coming

I just came from the ICU again where Liza is trying to keep from crying. The pain that was muted from the heavy sedatives during surgery is beginning to show up. Her neck is aching and the area of the graft on her leg is beginning to hurt. Of course, this is all normal and expected but it's very difficult to see my bride in so much pain. Please pray for her patience, resolve and strength to get through this night. It is shaping up to be a bit of a battle.

Thanks for your posts, Scot. We looked for them first thing this morning. The time difference is hard to work out sometimes - I woke in the night a few times and prayed for Liza and now it seems that was the right time. We all send our love,
Janine, Rory, Coppelia, Meghannah, Jared, Liam and Rory's parents, Jan and Bob - Liza's family in Australia

Scot,
You don't know me, but I do know Liza. My brother is David Weddel - I want you to know that Covenant Family Church in College Station is praying for Liza and for your family. We are in full agreement that God will do what He said He would do and His Word says that by His stripes we are healed. We are lifting you up in prayer and standing on His Word alongside you and your family. Lara, Dennis, Rebekah, Caleb, and Rachel Norris
