Finally Back at it

Well, the flu-funk has finally left our house...at least we think so. All four of us have been symptom-free for several days now and starting to gain strength. Izzy is feeling fine and beginning to show signs of some unexpected maturity and growth. Andrew has been back in pre-school for a couple weeks now and loving it. He is also showing signs of increased communication skills, language skills, and interpersonal relationships. Do I sound like a geeky father or what?

Liza has been hard at physical therapy the last few weeks, going sometimes four times a week. We've seen the difference as well. Her range of motion is visibily better, from my perspective at least, and that has been encouraging. However, she's been experiencing some severe headaches the last few days which had previously tapered off quite a bit.

Recently she went through a Detox regimine in a successful attempt to get all her body functions back in sync. It was difficult but has been very encouraging and helpful.

I have been traveling and speaking (teaching the Bible) much more in recent weeks. I was gone all last weekend ministering to Junior High students in west Texas and will travel to Dallas, Texas this coming weekend to meet with High School students. The weekend after that I will be preaching at a local church for their students. In between family, school and work, this schedule has been tough, but it has also been energizing. I love communicating the truth of the Bible to anyone who will listen, so despite the difficulties, it has been an honor and privilege to serve those I've come in contact with recently. I look forward to more.

That probably brings you more up to speed than you wanted to be about the Pollok clan. We still appreciate those of you who check in on us and especially your prayers for Liza and the rest of us. We covet those prayers and are constantly thankful "remembering you always in our prayers." Many blessings.

Your babies are growing up so fast! Last Friday, Izzy came into the studio while I was teaching drama and sat and watched so nicely! Liza, I'm looking forward to seeing you in the drama class on Friday!

I love that I get to drive by the studio every day. Just seeing the building warms my heart. What an amazing ministry you have. What a gift.

Your beautiful family all must be doing well and busy (no news is good news). We got a new computer so now I can blog again. There is a video of Carly from ballet camp at Excelsior on my blog.
